Mes chers frères et sœurs,
Vous achevez deux semaines de session sur la résilience. Vous êtes désormais préparés à vivre en personnes résilientes et à accompagner vos frères et sœurs sur cette voie, même si nous savons que la résilience n’est jamais une chose acquise mais une disposition qui se construit chaque jour. Dans un monde comme le nôtre, décrit par des termes qui effraient : volatilité, incertitude, complexité, ambiguïté, un monde fluide difficile à saisir, où on ne peut ni prévoir ni calculer, comment vivre sa mission de messager de la Bonne nouvelle.
Dans notre sous-région, nous vivons au quotidien, une certaine incertitude, une ambigüité avec la situation sécuritaire qui se dégrade de jour en jour et dont on ne sait ni les vraies raisons, ni les vrais auteurs.
Indépendamment de la question sécuritaire, nous sommes dans un monde qui évolue constamment, à un rythme si élevé qu’il génère beaucoup de stress et provoque un mal-être et nous conduit facilement à la résignation.
Et pourtant, c’est dans ce monde-là, tel qu’il est, avec ses complexités et ses ambiguïtés que nous sommes appelés à annoncer la Bonne nouvelle à nos frères et sœurs et mieux, à être bonne nouvelle pour eux. Mais comme le dit le dicton, on ne peut donner que ce qu’on a, d’où l’importance de la résilience qui est la capacité d’un individu à supporter les épreuves de la vie, la capacité de rebondir, de prendre un nouveau départ après un traumatisme. En Jésus nous contemplons la personne résiliente par excellence.
Jésus a traversé l’épreuve des accusations, des calomnies, de l’injustice, de la violence sans se laisser détruire. Nous pouvons alors nous demander : quel est son secret ? Quel est le secret, la source de sa résilience. Personnellement, je pense que son secret est dans sa communion profonde avec son Père à tel point que rien ne pouvait ni l’ébranler, ni le déstabiliser. Au contraire, comme le dit l’Evangile, il passait à travers villes et villages et proclamait, annonçait la Bonne Nouvelle du règne de Dieu. L’affreuse Passion n’a pas pu enlever de lui la gloire qui l’habitait.
D’une certaine manière nous sommes, nous aussi, des pèlerins comme lui et, avec lui, nous sommes constamment en sortie pour annoncer la Bonne nouvelle. Faisons nôtres les convictions et les certitudes de Saint Paul. Si le Christ est vivant, s’il a fait de nous des personnes vivantes, pourquoi serions-nous sans audace face à la complexité du monde, pourquoi serions-nous sans force face à la tentation du doute, sans espérance face à la montée du fanatisme et de l’insécurité, alors que le Christ marche vivant à nos côtés ? La résurrection du Christ est notre force et notre espérance. Si le Christ n’est pas ressuscité, alors vaine est notre foi, notre proclamation sans contenu. Mais il est ressuscité d’entre les morts et nous ouvre le chemin.
La résurrection est peut-être l’autre nom de la résilience. Nous venons du cœur de Dieu et nous allons vers ce cœur miséricordieux. Voilà l’essentiel de la vie chrétienne qui nous invite à mettre nos pas dans les pas de Jésus, pour marcher à la rencontre de nos frères et sœurs, marcher à la rencontre du Royaume. Comme disciples du Seigneur, nous sommes appelés à cultiver l’habitude de fixer notre regard sur lui. C’est en cela que nous pourrons rebondir avec résilience face à l’adversité. Nous devons apprendre à développer la patience dans l’épreuve et l’espoir dans les temps d’incertitude. Nous découvrirons alors que Dieu peut transformer nos adversités en opportunités.
Je termine avec un mot sur les femmes. Elles sont nombreuses dans l’évangile d’aujourd’hui comme elles sont nombreuses dans cette session. Trois d’entre elles sont nommées (Marie-Madeleine, Jeanne, Suzanne). Elles sont chacune uniques mais, elles ont en commun l’expérience de la résilience : Elles ont traversé : de la mort à la vie, du péché à la sainteté, de la maladie à la guérison. L’expérience radicale et incontournable de la rencontre avec le Christ leur a permis de rebondir, de renaître. Désormais, elles sont au service, non pas de Jésus seul, mais du corps tout entier, de tous les frères et sœurs en Christ. Elles sont les premières à tisser les liens de la fraternité universelle.
Comme elles qui, avec les apôtres, l’accompagnaient, le Christ attend de nous aujourd’hui, que nous l’aidions de nos ressources humaines et spirituelles, pour proclamer la Bonne Nouvelle. Demandons au Seigneur de nous donner son Esprit et qu’il nous aide à être pour nos frères et sœurs, Jésus qui passe en faisant le bien ».
